Australia Day 2010 Citizen and Young Citizen of the Year AwardsLast modified: October 23, 2009 - 12:05 AM
Wingecarribee Shire Council has much pleasure in inviting you to participate in Australia Day 2010 by submitting a nomination for the Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year Awards. These awards are intended to acknowledge and recognise those citizens who have made a significant contribution to their club or organisation as well as to the local community over a number of years. Individual acts of compassion, generosity, courage, etc, will also be considered. There are so many residents in the Shire who deserve recognition and we believe that the Australia Day Awards initiative provides an excellent forum for their contribution to be publicly acknowledged. We encourage you to help promote our Shire by nominating a person who you consider to be worthy of nomination.
Below is a link to the nomination form for both Citizen of the Year and Young Citizen of the Year (together with guidelines and privacy information) and we encourage you to submit your nomination(s) to Council by Friday, 1 January 2010. (Candidates must be Australian citizens and reside in the Wingecarribee Shire.) Nominations should be marked “Confidential” and completed and signed by both the candidate(s) and the person nominating them. They should be forwarded to the attention of the General Manager, PO Box 141, Moss Vale NSW 2577. If you would like more information or guidance, please feel free to contact our Administration Officer, Elizabeth Johnson on 4868 0713, who would be happy to offer any assistance you may require. 2010 Citizen of theYear Nomination Form 2010 Young Citizen of the Year Award Contact details |
