Index of current Wingecarribee Development Control Plans The following DCPs may be downloaded below.  Please note that non-consecutive numbering has resulted from former DCPs being repealed over time. Please also note that blank pages are included intentionally in some DCP documents. This is to allow the DCPs to be printed double-sided in accordance with statutory requirements. The prices shown on the covers of the DCPs have increased slightly, but only apply to the purchase of copies from Council's Customer Services counter.  Please telephone Customer Services on 4868 0771 if you need to confirm the current price of a DCP.

Outdoor eating & kerbside selling & advertising   DCP No 50  Council’s requirements for the use of public outdoor spaces for specified commercial purposes for out door eating, external merchandising and footpath based signage.
Professional consulting rooms. DCP No 21  To limit the proliferation of professional consulting rooms and health care professionals within residential zones immediately to the east and south of the Bowral sub-regional commercial centre.
Wind energy generation facilities   DCP No 51  Council’s requirements for wind energy generation facilities.

  

DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS & GUIDELINES 

Energy smart homes DCP No 39  To ensure that housing in the Shire is more comfortable to live in; uses less energy; costs less to run; and contributes positively to an overall reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
Engineering standards & development guidelines DCP No 41 

Guidelines to ensure that the appropriate engineering standards and planning principles are applied to the design & construction of subdivision & other development throughout the Shire.

NB: This DCP is in two large volumes and is too large to keep on our website.  The DCP is available from Council's Customer Service counter for $192.29 for both volumes.

Flood risk management DCP No 34  Council’s requirements for the development (including extensions & alterations to existing buildings) of potentially flood affected land.
Residential development including dwelling houses, medium density and residential flat buildings.  Residential DCP   Council’s guidelines and development standards for detached dwelling houses, dual occupancies, cluster housing development and medium density development. 
Rural & Residential development standards   DCP No 16  Guidelines and planning standards for rural & residential zones prescribed within Wingecarribee LEP 1989.
Erection of buildings DCP No 44  Council’s requirements for the erection of all buildings within the Shire that are additional to those stipulated in State legislation.
Public notification of proposed development  DCP No 45  Council’s protocols and procedures in the notification of development proposals.
